Adecco is assisting one of our clients, recruiting for Equipment Operators in Huber Heights, Ohio. These Equipment Operators are long term, possible temp to hire opportunities, with a starting pay rates of $13.50 for 1st shift and $14.85 for 2nd shift, plus overtime. Equipment Operators require candidates to:
1. Uses written list to pick parts needed for order. Scans picked items into inventory system.
2. Follows quality control procedures; arranges items to be packaged on conveyor system - reports problems.
3. Operates and monitors equipment used in the configuration process as needed.
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for the Equipment Operator position:
1. Previous equipment operator experience is a plus as most positions require equipment operation.
2. Education and/or Experience: High School Degree or equivalent. One year of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Intermediate computer skills.
2. Language Skills: Must be able to read and understand detailed written and verbal instructions. Must be able to effectively communicate with coworkers and management.
4. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define process or quality problems and report as necessary. Ability to read and follow detailed written instructions.
5. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk and stand. Use hands and fingers to operate computer and packaging equipment. Bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, pulling. Lifting requirements average 20-30 lbs, occasionally reach 50 lbs.
The starting pay rate for the Equipment Operator is $13.50 for 1st shift and $14.85 for 2nd shift, plus overtime as needed.
