This position has a starting base rate of pay $19.85 per hour, and an additional $1.00 per hour shift differential for 3rd shift position placement.

Job Description:

• Recycle cardboard and compact trash from production areas.
  
• Empty the trash containers inside and outside of building.
  
• Sanitation of the compactor room.
  
• Loading recycled cardboard on semi-trailers and load inedible trucks.
  
• Transfer pallets in the North hall area to the pallet station.
  
• Other duties as assigned.
  

Job Requirements:

• Ability to move from one area of production to another.
  
• Must be able to read explicit simple instructions and do required paperwork.
  
• Must wear necessary safety equipment, etc.
  
• Must be able to operate various types of material handling equipment.
  

Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Must be willing and able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
  
• The Team Member will regularly be required to stand, stoop, bend, climb ladders, change work levels, twist and squat, climb stairs, reach, push, pull and move about the facility.
  
• The Team Member will work where the temperature of the work area could range between 30 and 100+ degrees. Team members are encouraged to dress appropriately before they arrive at their workstation.
  

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
