This is a cross-functional team leader providing daily operational support, continuous improvement, change management, and strategy development focused on supply chain systems across the organization. Transformational leader working with business teams to develop strategic project roadmaps, facilities improvement initiatives, and collaboration/scaling of best practices across all sites. Role will own and program manage the WMS systems, both existing and new deployments with a view of standardization across all fulfillment locations. Position will further be responsible for leading/facilitating the implementation of a labor management system, including system design architecture, LM system configuration and testing, engineered labor standards development and validation, operational training, and change control management.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead and develop a team of 6 to 8 direct reports supporting multiple retail and e-com fulfillment nodes. Mentor and motivate the teams including performance evaluations, promotions, recruiting activities including hiring and disciplinary actions.
Partner with counterparts in logistics, finance and e-commerce to understand and prepare for supporting upcoming business initiatives.
Report on team performance, open issues and project level work.
Provide leadership by projecting a positive attitude and offering learning opportunities/incentives.
Manage and negotiate with third party vendors supplying equipment to support Logistics/Supply Chain from a technology perspective.
Experience managing a WMS system including MHE, EDI interfaces and data integrations in a highly fluid warehouse environment.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by VP or CIO.
10+ years of professional work experience including minimum:
7+ years direct WMS & LMS implementation experience in a warehousing/distribution environment
7+ years of project management experience inside logistics/supply chain.
7+ years of direct report staff leadership
Ecommerce vertical experience; warehouse automation & mechanization
Direct leadership and experience in 3PL services implementation (site startups & go-live)
Demonstrated experience implementing WMS and LMS systems
Demonstrated experience in working with outside consultants, including contract negotiations and vendor selectionEducation and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; or 10 to 15 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of PC/Laptop computers, RF & WiFi devices used in a warehouse environment. Knowledge of computer hardware in general, networking concepts including Wifi, server administration as it relates to supporting technologies and systems found in a warehouse environment. Other Skills and Abilities:
High level of analytical ability to collect and examine technical data to resolve implementation and support issues.
Ability to create performance baselines and network diagrams.
Good customer service and human relations skills and be personable.
