Job Description

Overview
The Credit Policy Manager will assist in the oversight and daily management of the change management program related to Loan Servicing. The Credit Policy Manager will be responsible for interacting with various lines of business within Servicing, and ensure that operational controls such as policies and procedures are kept up to date and are in compliance with GSE, Governmental Agency and Private Mortgage Insurer requirements.

Job Description

  • Monitor investor, agency and MI publications for changes in Loan Servicing guidelines. Consult with the impacted division(s) on changes to company guidelines in response to those changes.
  • Manage the distribution and publication of notifications to internal staff on guideline changes related to loan servicing
  • Review mortgage servicing control support which could include, policies and procedures, workflows, reporting, and provide suggested edits, as needed.
  • Gather, investigate, and review additional information and conduct research as necessary, to ensure compliance with Agency requirements
  • Perform post implementation reviews
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Ideal Candidate will have the following:
  • Technical writing experience a plus
  • Thorough knowledge of mortgage servicing and interactions within various departments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word
  • Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently
  • Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment
  • Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred
  • Strong business acumen and ability to interface with executive management
