AC Track Faculty Position - Breast Oncology

The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of medical oncology with a focus on breast cancer and will be expected to see patients in the Rena Rowan Breast Cancer Center. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Board certification in Medical Oncology is required.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching hematology/oncology fellows, medical residents, and medical students. The successful candidates will have clinical and teaching experience in the area of breast cancer. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching.

Clinical responsibilities may include a focus on patients with breast cancer. Participation in clinical trials is an important part of this role.
