Position Overview

Join NPD's Walmart/Sam's Club team and help NPD expand our impact across Walmart Inc. You will analyze NPD data to develop insights and recommendations for the General Merchandise industries NPD measures. You will be client facing, expected to lead selected projects and help present results to Walmart Inc. Clients for this work will typically be at the Sr. Director or VP/DMM level. You will also support the needs of Client Director.

This position is based in Bentonville Arkansas and is expected to work on-site at either Walmart or Sam's Club when the work environment allows. As part of NPD's Walmart team in Bentonville, you'll participate in a competitive bonus plan, join a fun team that includes both year-round team engagement events and philanthropic activities when the social environment allows. NPD Analyst Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, insights discovering and action recommendation.
• Experience with point-of-sale data and panel-based buyer measurement data.
• Demonstrated ability to influence clients with analytics/insights
• Strong project management skills
• Good written and oral communication skills, with willingness to improve both
• Demonstrated critical thinker and problem solver
• Solid attention to detail
• Fluent in MS Office products.
• BA/BS or equivalent.

Other Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with/for Walmart or Sam's Club General Merchandise business (any department)
• Experience with retail disciplines of pricing, assortment or product marketing
• Technical aptitude, including familiarity with Python, Microsoft BI, or SAS
