Intrado's Life & Safety division is responsible for some critical parts of our everyday life. Our solutions are responsible for everything that happens after a 9-1-1 call is placed - call routing, delivery, location determination and data management. Whether you call from a landline, cell phone or text 9-1-1, we make sure first responders get the right information at the right time so they can save lives.

Intrado also provides notifications to the utilities, healthcare and educational sectors. Our platform provides multi-modal communications that meet an individual's contact preference and routes over 4 billion notifications each year. Intrado is looking to hire an Account Executive to join our Education team selling Intrado's Safety Shield and Revolution safety solutions to K-12 and Higher Ed.

Intrado Corporation is the trusted provider of SchoolMessenger solutions. Thousands of schools and other educational institutions in all 50 U.S. states and Canada depend on SchoolMessenger products and services for community engagement in multiple languages and on any device. From notifications and websites to custom mobile apps and social media, school leaders have relied on the SchoolMessenger platform since 1999.

Essential Duties:

  • Qualify new business prospects by determining if the prospect matches company services and qualifications, outlining opportunities and benefits of pursuing relationships
  • Coordinate internal resources for sales presentations which may include technical and cross divisional expertise
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technologies, clients and applications of business divisions to understand the Company's capabilities and whether or not those capabilities are compatible with the prospect
  • Establish an excellent working relationship with clients, continuously striving to improve the business relationship and overall level of service
  • Perform quality review of services provided; review trends and customer complaints to evaluate efficiency of workflow and current methods and procedures
  • Support sales activities such as RFPs and the development of their responses, proposal development and delivery of proposal presentations and materials for existing and new clients.


Education:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business, information technology or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.


Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in a sales role, specifically selling into new accounts required
  • Experience selling Safety Solutions and/or SaaS to K-12 strongly preferred
  • Required experience prospecting and closing net new deals
  • Self-starter with excellent time-management skills
  • Superior relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; experience delivering compelling presentations to large audiences
  • Travel required within assigned territory, as needed
