Principal Purpose of Position:

  • Main point of contact for customer's supply chain needs that include upfitting.
  • Coordinates all communication with internal stakeholders (design analysts, Order Writing, Purchasing, Scheduling, Production, Transportation) to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Manage client's portfolio of vehicles and provide proactive solutions to fulfill clients' needs
  • Manage pilot reviews and coordinate follow up.
  • Manages yearly discussions on planning and order placement.
  • Proactively propose alternatives based on scheduling or supplier-related issues.
  • Provide detailed status to client
  • Forecasts and monitors customer order cycle and status to ensure vendor commitments align with actual performance
  • Monitors customer's SLA agreements
  • Makes recommendations pre and post order for the benefit of the client - alternative equipment, delivery options, chassis specifications, etc
  • Frequent communication with customer to grow knowledge of business as well as grow relationship.
  • Creates, analyzes and distributes custom status reports to provide proactive communication to client on the progress of their vehicles
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned

Education and/or Training:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Relevant Work Experience:
  • Sales/Customer Retention Experience - 3+ years required
  • Experience in managing multiple projects at same time
  • Industry experience preferred
