This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As an Account Payable Accountant , you will be responsible for:

• Review of the process a high volume of invoices with our A/P Outsourcer.
• Research unpaid invoices and determine appropriate resolution.
• Assist with conversion of current accounts payable system to a new accounts payable system.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for invoice approval and payment.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding invoice/payment inquiries and issues.
• Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable.
• Monthly reporting of Accounts Payable KPI's.
• Assist with conversion of current accounts payable system to a new accounts payable system.

Required skills to have for the success of this role:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related finance role.
• Proficiency in accounting software SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with PEGA and Reedsoft Accounts Payable Software a plus.
