RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Charlotte, NC that is seeking an Accountant. In this role, the Accountant examines, analyzes and interprets accounting records to prepare statements and/or advise management. They must have the ability to mentor junior members of team, as needed, and must be prepared for busier volumes at end of month, quarter, and year end.REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong organizational skills and ability to use multiple tools to support prioritization of tasks
- Ability to multitask while maintaining a responsive engagement on email with business partners and clients
- Ability to process transactions and prioritize day to day activity
- Ability to investigate reconciliation breaks with guidance
- Excel knowledge (PIVOT/VLOOKUP/General query and calculations)
- Strong client service communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes
- Think outside the box and look for opportunities in processes and improve efficiencies
- Ability to focus on reading documents to understand dependencies to process transactions
- Credit agreement/contract knowledge is a plus, but not required
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
