NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Accounts Payable Coordinator based in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The ideal candidate for the Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for the accounting associated with race payouts and supplier invoices.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Process race payouts for all series including event payouts, point fund and end of year awards. Review payouts from competitions and import them into Workday.
  • Responsible for researching, tracking and calculate withholding. Collect and review state withholdings form from race teams. Assist in the preparation of withholding returns.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly. Prepare monthly journal entries.
  • Responsible for reviewing and maintaining W9's & W8's. Assist with the 1099, 1042 and other tax reporting documents.
  • Process supplier invoices. Responsible for uploading, coding and routing of supplier invoices for approval. Research outstanding balances and reconcile supplier statements.
  • Assist with review/audit of employee expense reports and purchase cards. Follow-up on unsubmitted expense reports, credit card and travel card charges.
Required skills / experience:
  • Associates degree in Accounting and two to three years high volume related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient on Company-provided hardware and software. Strong knowledge of Microsoft office products with advance knowledge of excel is required. Experience with Workday highly desirable.
  • Must be able to multi-task and work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational, time management and critical thinking skills are required.
  • Must be able to communicate at all levels and build and maintain working relationships with business personnel.
