Overview

Summary:
Assist with the timely and accurate processing of disbursements and interdepartmental transactions in accordance with departmental procedures in a proficient manner. Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust's mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  1. Process requests for information in a timely manner from internal departments and external vendors.


  1. Process all vendor invoices received from vendors or internal department in a timely manner.


  1. Continually monitor open invoices on a weekly basis to ensure invoices are coded, approved, and paid on a timely basis.


  1. Requests payments be voided and/or reissued in Oracle as requests arise.


  1. Reconcile all vendor statements and spreadsheets received by Accounts Payable.


  1. Assists with 1099 processing and/or corrections if required by 1099 department.


  1. Cooperates in department's work improvement efforts. Participates on work related teams. Supports Management in installation of future system enhancements and updates.


  1. May be required to work overtime as assigned.


  1. Keeps current with market trends and demands.


  1. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Qualifications:
Required:
  • 2 Years Accounts Payable Experience


  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.


  • Ability to establish positive relationships and work effectively with all departments and affiliates to ensure integration of strategic goals and principles.


  • Demonstrated success in process improvements.


  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.


  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


  • High attention to detail and organization skills.


Preferred:
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud
