Our partner is looking to bring on an Accounts Payable professional to assist their back office in the day to day responsibilites. This role is going to be a project based necessity and is expected to last anywhere from 4-6 months with a chance of extension depending on the work load.

Location: St. Louis (Westport)
Schedule: M-F 8:00 - 5:00 (onsite)
Pay: $25 - 28 / hour - full time contract
ROLE SUMMARY
The accounts payable specialist will play an integral role in Finance, assist with month end and annual processes, and ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and appropriate follow-ups with vendors and internal departments.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain precise records of all vendor payments
- Monitor tax liabilities and ensure tax liabilities are paid on time
- Responsible for paying and keeping record of all invoices
- Code, enter and upload invoices
- Analyze all accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to ensure payment accuracy
- Work closely with Operations and Procurement on purchase orders and open invoices
- Research vendor invoices and purchase orders
- Able to work in Prism and JDE systems
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates' degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field is ideal
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience
- Experience with JDE and Concur advantageous
- Detail-oriented and organized, high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and ownership of tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
