Position Purpose:The purpose of this position is to provide a variety of administrative support services to mental health clinicians, to increase office efficiency, maintain quality client care, and expedite and coordinate the delivery of clinical services in collaboration with the office administrative team. The primary purpose of this position is answering phones and schedule coordination. Additionally, a key component is handling confidential and sensitive information, exercising discretion concerning its disposition, and communicating protected health information to staff clinicians. Due to the diverse needs of the student/client population, this position requires professionalism and a high degree of sensitivity.

Description:Handles a variety of calls, e-mails, and walk-ins, schedules appointments, and resolves scheduling conflicts. Notifies clients of changes/cancellations and prioritizes urgency of appointments for rescheduling. Assures crisis situations are appropriately forwarded to the counselor on-call or designee.
