Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

The recruiter is responsible to understand the corporate culture, policies and goals, and select candidates that meet or exceed our minimum requirements for employment. Work closely with station management in various locations to arrange and host recruiting events designed to meet staffing goals. Post job opportunities on various websites or newspapers, monitor responses and contact candidates. Conduct interview and orientation sessions, arrange for new hires to attend mandatory training class. Ensure employment processes are completed for each new hire. Maintain and update files, tracking forms and order pre-employment workbooks as necessary. Extensive travel to include multiple overnights.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently, set and meet own deadlines
  • Ability to work well with all levels of management and support staff
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent MS Office Suite skills
  • Flexible schedule
  • Motivation to succeed
  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment law
  • Previous recruiting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Experience as a pilot
  • Airline experience

Work Environment:
  • Standard office environment, use of computers and other office equipment
  • Extensive travel

Physical Requirements:
  • Occasional lifting up to 75 pounds
