We are looking for a Financial Analyst who will join our Capital FinanceTeam in Marysville, OH.

This position will be based at The Scotts Miracle-Gro world headquarters in Marysville, a suburb of Columbus, OH. Not familiar with Columbus? Visit columbusregion.com/columbus-2020/

The Capital Planning Financial Analyst plays a critical role in capital management for the entire organization. This role supports the CapEx process from beginning to end and requires interaction with individuals across the business. The ideal candidate will be flexible, able to prioritize and communicate effectively, be detailed oriented, and will have a passion for continual improvement.

What you'll do in this role:

• Assist in the CapEx budgeting and forecasting process
• Work collaboratively with a multitude of individuals across the organization
• Maintain the CapEx master file containing relevant info for all projects
• Provide monthly reporting in a timely manner
• PAR processing for purchases and leases including PAR review and workflow oversight
• Responsible for PAR Closures and creating assets systematically
• Assist with the preparation, execution, and reporting related to the PAR Hindsight Review process
• Ad hoc reporting and special projects

Some other nice to have's:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in corporate financial or accounting role is preferred
• Skills and Abilities: Strong Excel spreadsheet/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides, and general office skills are necessary. Experience with SAP R/3 preferred
