As an Angular Developer, you will be at the forefront of creating pivotal software modules using Angular 8+, contributing to significant public health advancements.
Job Description

As an Angular Developer, you will be responsible for the design and development of key modules critical to the enhancement and functionality of our client's system using Angular 8+ programming. This position will be full-time, hybrid, and a contract.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop high-quality, critical modules within the NJIIS using Angular 8+.
  • Analyze functional requirements and technical specifications to implement robust technical solutions
  • Collaborate effectively as both an individual contributor and a team member within the development team
  • Work closely with internal functional groups such as project management and network operations, as well as external parties, to deliver integrated web applications and backend system solutions
  • Provide accurate estimates for design and programming efforts for system changes and enhancements
  • Utilize business examples to demonstrate key concepts and features effectively
  • Ensure technical documentation and artifacts are accurately prepared, maintained, and cataloged
  • Assist with new cloud development initiatives as required

What You'll Need

Required:
  • 6+ years of professional IT experience, specifically with programming in Angular 8+
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices
  • Proven ability to interpret functional requirements and technical specifications
  • Experience in working within a collaborative environment, particularly using Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with cloud development and willingness to contribute to new initiatives in this area
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with various stakeholders

Physical Demands
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
