Job Description:

GDIT is looking for an Applications Analyst to Manage the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems Candidate should be a functional/technical expert in application support, application integration, and VMware. Experience with the following is preferred:

• Java/JEE
• .Net
• Windows 2008, 2012, 2016 operating systems
• Apache/Tomcat
• IIS
• Vulnerabilities scan tools - Nessus, Gaurdium, Splunk
• SharePoint, MOSS
• Moveit
• Install Entrust SSL certs
• ADFS Single sign on configuration
• system users training

The candidate should have experience with tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

• Install and configure application servers.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and fix the application environment.
• On allocated servers, monitor and report the following to the Operations Manager - Performance, Uptime, Utilization and Security.
• Support application migrations and deployments.
• Support of Client/Server and n-tier Web applications
• Perform VM provisioning, management, and configuration.
• Implement infrastructure for high availability environments.
• Work closely with database and system administrators, as well as server/storage and network teams, to deliver a stable environment for hosted applications.
• Solve complex network server/application/infrastructure level problems and interface with teams as needed.
• Perform application upgrades.
• Install and maintain SSL certificates.
• Install, configure, and manage Windows Server operating systems and related tool sets.
• Administer user accounts.
• Maintain SDS laptops with updates and anti-virus protection.
