Accounts Receivable/Collections Specialist-Hiring Immediately! (Part-time/Remote)

This is for a dynamic organization dedicated to providing exceptional products/services to our clients. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable/Collections Specialist to join our finance team.

About the Role:

As an Accounts Receivable/Collections Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing customer accounts and ensuring timely collections. Your expertise in QuickBooks will be essential in maintaining accurate records and facilitating efficient billing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment tracking, and collections.
  • Utilize QuickBooks to generate and send invoices, process payments, and reconcile accounts.
  • Monitor aging accounts and follow up with customers to ensure timely payment.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and update account information as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.
  • Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and aging analysis.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable and collections, preferably in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles is a plus.
Salary: $31 HR
