What You Will Contribute:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate and Contribute to Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost continuous improvement efforts.
  • Use Production system to record day-to-day customer order activity, view work instructions and report completed work.
  • Change Job status in the production system to ensure order progress can be easily identified by other team members as well as Management
  • Use basic Hand, battery, electric and pneumatic powered tools to complete assemblies.
  • Safely use circular saws, deburring tools to complete modified assemblies.
  • Accurately use laser etcher, dot peen etcher and engraver to complete modified assemblies to customer specifications.
  • Effectively complete advanced soldering of components to meet specifications of products.
  • Navigate efficiently through the production system screens to identify Inventory requirements and status as needed. Relay constraints to Lead and proactively seek resolution.
  • Execute the repair of customer returns in a timely manner and document information as required.
  • Communicate effectively with intra-departmental team members such as manufacturing engineer, sales, purchasing and others as needed.
  • Be a subject matter expert in specific area with the ability to step in and provide clarity to others when needed.
  • Understand 5S and Lean Manufacturing concepts and be active participant in departmental improvements.
  • Responsible for training other team members when required.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A minimum of 3 years of previous experience
  • High School Diploma Or GED
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Basic understanding of how to use an IPAD
  • Previous experience using Salesforce, LX or a similar system.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Previous experience soldering
