Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as an Assessment Clinician at Behavioral Health Network!

Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the CCBHC Behavioral Health Urgent Care Clinic with the following:

• Providing comprehensive behavioral health assessment and level of care determination based on evidence-based clinical tools and sound clinical judgment.
• Maintaining schedule of available assessment slots as determined by program protocol.
• Providing evaluations, assessments or urgent visits in other departments (crisis re-evaluations, CBHI referral triage calls, urgent outpatient visits) as needed.
• Providing comprehensive risk/crisis evaluations, and take appropriate actions to keep clients and others safe.
• Conducting weekly calls to families on ICC and IHT waitlists and maintain documentation as required .
• Working closely with CBHI managers to ensure adequate communication regarding triage and waitlists.

BHN's CCBHC Urgent Care Clinicis open 7 days a week 8am-8pm and provides high-quality, culturally competent care to those with mental health conditions, substance use disorders (SUD), and co-occurring disorders that is both clinically effective and cost effective. This care is provided by rapidly assessing and treating patients, supporting referral and access to appropriate services in the least restrictive setting, stabilizing an acute condition or circumstance while promoting safety and recovery.

What are we looking for in an Assessment Clinician?

• Master's degree in a mental health/clinical program. (Required)
• Experience and/or training working with individuals with co-occurring mental health and Substance Use Disorders (SUD). (Required)
• Have or be actively working towards a MA behavioral health license. (Required)
• Have broad knowledge of mental illness and treatment techniques, including adults with severe and persistent mental health needs or children with serious emotional disturbance. (Required)
• Must have familiarity with internet, word processing and email systems. (Required)
