About this opportunity:

The Asset Data Technician manages foundational data to enable maintenance and reliability programs at Superior Refinery. They work with plant personnel and Downstream Technical Services (DTS) to complete and track work, site specific standards, and processes for this data.

What you'll do:

  • Focal point to maintain site asset Data Management Systems
  • Manages foundational data to enable maintenance and reliability programs at Superior Refinery
  • Drives continuous improvement to plant safety, reliability, and cost through sustaining comprehensive quality equipment data.
  • Identify and record equipment BOMs, perform field audit.
  • Champion of master data change process and update data directly in SAP system per approved change request
  • Continuously scan, validate, and update asset data working with plant personnel and Downstream Technical Services (DTS) resources.
  • Track and report data status to maintenance and reliability management, DTS, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide data gap reports to DTS and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and publish communications for the data via SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Provide access to, and training on, the data for management, maintenance, operations, engineering, finance
  • Develop, maintain, and implement site specific data management standards.
Who you are:
  • Engineering Technologist (2 or 3 year Technical Diploma) OR Trade background with minimum 5 years experience in an operating refinery or chemical plant
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an operating refinery or chemical plant with similar responsibilities.
  • Minimum 3 years experience with data querying and reporting
  • Minimum 5 years experience with Excel & SharePoint
  • Broad and detailed knowledge of industry standards, reliability best practices
