The Assistant Director of Nursing/Staff Development Coordinator is a self-motivated professional Registered Nurse and serves as a clinical role model within the Long Term Care (LTC) Nursing Unit. This individual accepts 24-hour responsibility for the unit in collaboration with the Director of Nursing. He/she is accountable for the nursing management of the LTC unit to assure delivery of quality care for the well-being of residents on the unit, department, and organization. This individual actively participates in facility-wide committees, maintains current standards of nursing practices and ensures adherence to Facility State and Federal regulations. This person also maintains clinical systems within the Care Center; promotes quality care delivery by all providers and demonstrates ethical and appropriate behavior for the clinical environment, including, but not limited to, respect for the residents' dignity; rights; privacy; age and other specific care needs; and maintenance of confidentiality of information. He/she demonstrates a leadership style that supports and directs staff while fostering participative, autonomous, and achievement-orientated behavior. Available to work variable hours, nights, days or weekends as required by staffing needs.

Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Registered Nurse currently licensed to practice professional nursing by the Montana State Board of Nurse Examiners; BSN preferred; minimum of four (4) years nursing experience with at least one (1) year in Long-Term Care; and demonstrates leadership abilities by progressive supervisory experience. Ability to successfully pass Background Check and Drug Screen.

Salary commensurate with up to 10 years of experience.
