Compensation: $31.00/hr

Responsible for assisting Director in all operating elements of Southwest Missouri Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center in order to ensure quality of care and safety for persons in treatment to help them successfully transition back to community living.

This position will primarily be Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with some on-call responsibilities. 

Responsibilities Include: 

• Maintain quality and continuity of transitional treatment
• Oversee assigned staff operations
• Assist Director to engage in public relations activities promoting transitional services
• Assist Director to assure contract compliance and coordination with DMH rules and regulations
• Assist Director to ensure program meets all certification requirements for CPS, CARF, and other accrediting agencies as required
• Manage referrals and admissions
• Ensure quality and compliance data are utilized in directing services and improvements in services
• Provide fiscal management and accountability including client restitution
• Participate in agency meetings as appropriate
• Monitor staff attendance and compliance with rules and regulations of the organization

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

• Oversees day-to-day operations and tasks of supervisees
• Completes performance development/AIM process
• Time card management – manages time sheets
• Ensures progress and development is made toward departmental strategic plan goals

 



Bachelor’s degree in a human service-related field required
Master’s degree in nursing or a human service-related field preferred

• At least five (5) years experience in mental health treatment with seriously mentally ill and co-occurring patients required
• At least two (2) years supervisory experience required
• Must be currently working towards a Master’s degree with scheduled graduation date within 24 months of hire if Bachelor’s degree is the highest degree obtained
• Inpatient and/or residential treatment experience preferred

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: RN, PLPC, LPC, LMSW or LCSW preferred
