The Judge Group is actively seeking a degreed Assistant Financial Manager to join a Fortune 100 manufacturer in South Carolina!

As an Assistant Financial Manager, your role will involve supporting the Financial Manager in various financial and administrative tasks. Let's delve into the details:

Responsibilities:

• Financial Records and Accuracy: You'll meticulously examine company insurance accuracy and financial records by accessing the computerized accounting system.
• Asset Management: You'll be assisting with controlling the company's liquid and physical assets. This includes reviewing invoices, approving expenditures, and implementing safeguards to prevent waste or excessive spending.
• Budgeting and Profit Estimates: Prepare annual budgets and profit estimates for various departments within the organization.
• Office Equipment Approval: You'll approve office equipment purchases.
• Performance Analysis: Regularly analyze customer and department performance based on established budgets.
• Business Decisions: Investigate and make informed decisions regarding new business opportunities from a monetary standpoint.
• Financial Templates and Forms: Develop necessary computerized templates and financial forms.
• Staff Appraisals and Reviews: Conduct performance appraisals for staff members.
• Reporting and Compliance: Prepare ongoing reports for division controllers, state, federal, and local agencies. Ensure compliance with established policies, programs, and practices to produce safe, quality products.

Qualifications:

• Education: A BS/BA degree is required.
• Experience: You should have 3+ years of experience in accounting.
