• Manages the Union Art Center during afternoon and evening hours.
• Assists with the hiring, training, and orientation of new employees.
• Supervises the Paint-a-Pot retail location in the Askew Student Life Center when necessary.
• Works with the Program Manager and class instructors on scheduling and advertising.
• Maintains the Art Center's social media and marketing strategies for events, classes, and promotions.
• Serves as the coordinator for the FSU Student Union Art Gallery scheduling shows and events, managing publicity, and setting up openings and receptions.
• Creates supply orders for the Art Center, Art Gallery, Frame Shop, and Paint-a-Pot.
• Performs administrative work related to payroll approvals and data management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and experience equal to six years. (Note: post-high-school education and/or experience may substitute at a comparable rate.)

The successful candidate will have experience working in an art center and be familiar with equipment, supplies, and sales.

Anticipated Salary Range

The anticipated salary for this position will be in the low $40K's.

Schedule

This position will primarily work from 12:00 to 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday. However, some weekends may be required as well.
