What you will focus on:

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual retention, customer satisfaction, usage, and sales goals.
  • Design plans to achieve these goals and create strategies to combat potential revenue losses.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and understand the goals of each client to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Identify competitive threats and develop effective countermeasures.
  • Identify growth opportunities including up-sells and cross-sells.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to optimize utilization of resources and ensure success.

What we expect from you:
  • Manage client relationships, develop account plans, and engage in day-to-day communications with customers including answer their questions, manage challenges, and collect and communicate feedback to Management and the appropriate teams.
  • Utilize all required sales processes, internal tools, and systems.
  • Prepare all documentation for client business reviews, create presentations to inform existing clients about LexisNexis Intellectual Property products or services, and develop creative solutions including proposals for existing clients.
  • Have a strong understanding of all core products including TotalPatent One, PatentOptimizer, PatentAdvisor, and PatentSight, and be able to confidently answer questions and demonstrate these solutions.
  • Provide accurate and consistent reporting of progress towards meeting goals to Management including sales forecasting.
  • Stay up-to-date with product enhancements, business strategy, etc.
  • Know and understand the competition.
  • Proven track record of success in client management and sales.
  • You are a great relationship manager with customer focus skills able to build relationships with both internal and external parties.
  • You are metrics-driven and analytical. You can prioritize in a fast-paced environment, drive and achieve results under time pressure.
  • You have a strong business acumen, capable of understanding your impact on territory performance as measured by net revenue retention, profit, and customer measures.
  • You have the mindset of an entrepreneur and can navigate a large organization.
  • You are flexible and can easily adapt to changes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 0-2 years of experience in customer service, client management, B2B sales, marketing, and/or training.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and across the organization to achieve group and organizational goals.
  • Strong time management, organizational, planning and forecasting skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly proficient with MS Office Suite as well as CRM programs, i.e. NetSuite, Salesforce etc.
  • Familiarity with the Intellectual Property market and the patenting process is a plus.
  • May require local and overnight business travel (up to 25% of the time)
