Responsibilities

This position is responsible for assisting in the management, administrative direction, and coordination of staff and activities for the IT Security, Application Security, and Technological Infrastructure sections of the Office of Enrollment Management.
Responsible for managing all staff in the IT Security, Application Security, and Technological Infrastructure sections of the Office of Enrollment Management. Recommends and implements policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operation of each section. Responsible for maintaining, updating, developing, and evaluating office procedures as well as documenting processes and interactions in these sections. Makes suggestions and recommendations to the Program Director for the efficient operation of the sections.
Engages ITS resources where appropriate to evaluate Enrollment Management needs and find effective solutions. Evaluates implementation of ITS services being used by the Office of Enrollment Management to ensure goals are accomplished. ITS services may include desktop and laptop computer support, management of network infrastructure, networked file storage, document imagine, and telephone services VOIP and CENTREX.
Contributes to long-range planning. Reviews and evaluates IT resources, computing systems, software, multimedia equipment. Shares in the compilation and analysis of technological infrastructure for recommendations. Assists with acquisitions and upgrades when they are required.
Serves as backup to the Program Director as representative for the Office of Enrollment Management at campus functions and meetings. Serves as a member of Enrollment Management leadership team.

Qualifications

Master's degree and four years of relevant work experience; or a Bachelor's degree and six years of relevant work experience.

Experience and comfort working with a variety of computer software applications, databases, and student information systems.

Experience with the principles and practices of student program planning, development, and evaluation.

Knowledge of information technology security measures.

xperience with identifing technology-based needs and solutions.

Preferred

Ability to apply Admissions principles and practices to strategically align tasks and people with organizational goals and objectives. Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related University policies, procedures, principles, and practices.

Mid 50s to Low 60s
