The Associate Events Manager will be a member of the Marketing team, reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Events. This role will own the development and execution of internal employee engagement events and programs at both the local and global level.

Position Type (See Workplace Approach Below): Hybrid

Responsibilities:

  • Design and lead employee programs that are based on proven frameworks to drive employee engagement and overall experience, in line with YETI's culture
  • Lead cross-functional teams through ideation, planning and execution of employee events of all scopes and sizes: from small surprise-and-delight moments to Company-wide global events, such as Annual Awards, Holiday, Product Launch events
  • Management and execution of event details, including concepts, budget management, contract negotiation for location, food, entertainment, etc.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure our programs and events are tied into the overarching Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategy, in order to create a sense of purpose and belonging
  • Partner closely with Sr. Manager, Engagement and Internal Communications, and other Talent team members, on messaging and communication on all employee experience programs and events
Qualifications and Attributes:
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education or event planning experience
  • At least 4 years of experience leading culture, and workplace experience initiatives, campaigns, or events
  • Ability to work across the organization to identify needs, develop engagement solutions, and integrate into an annual calendar and plan
  • Excellent project management skills with the demonstrated ability to prioritize projects and deliver on commitments within budget
  • Demonstrated ability planning and executing employee events at all levels, across formats (in-person and virtual) and with all budgets (large and small) - from small local events to Company-wide global events
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate future trends and create innovative ideas
  • Ability to confidently take action while remaining a collaborative team player
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced and ambiguous environments, rapidly shifting priorities to best support their team and the overall business
  • Ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels, thinking long-term while executing in the weeds if necessary
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time
  • Excellent executive presence, comfortably interacting with senior executives within the Company while remaining accessible and approachable to everyone
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills including conflict resolution, team management and presentations

US Workplace Approach:
  • Hybrid: Role requires you to be located in Austin, Texas and is a mixture of onsite and remote.
