An Industrial Distributor is seeking a Automation Architect (Azure) in Sandy Springs, GA.

Role Description

We are looking for an Automation Architect with expertise in creation of Automated solutions and proven test automation scripting hands-on expertise combined with strong communication skills. This is a highly technical role that requires deep Test Automation frameworks knowledge. In this role, you will help to drive overall test automation strategy and will be working alongside sharp, like-minded automation specialists, software developers and solution architects. As a Automation Architect, you will lead, improve and enhance test automation practices and tools selection by demonstrating innovative ideas while leading automation initiatives. You will proactively identify and implement automation strategies to improve reliability, stability and leveraging automation and service virtualization across all Real Time Payment workstreams wherever possible.

Skills & Requirements

• 15+ years of experience spanning at least two IT disciplines, including technical architecture, application development, middleware, database management or operations
• 10+ years of support including experience in engineering skills experience
• Development background with strong programming skills is a plus
• Experience with Azure, AWS, and GCP implementations
• Knowledge of all components of a Technical Architecture
• Knowledge of business process re-engineering
• DevOps certifications will be a plus
• Experience with test automation and test management tools
• Strong understanding of network, Infra architecture and application development methodologies
• Strong understanding of SOA, Microservices, Object-oriented analysis and design
• Thorough understanding of DevOps and CI/CD
• Thorough understanding of GitLab
• Hands-on test automation experience in an Agile Development environment
• Hands-on experience specifying, establishing and managing test environments and test data for load and functional automation
• Knowledge of containers and virtualization
• Knowledge of mobile automation tools
• Knowledge of automated build management tools
• Demonstrated experience in defining and implementing several test automation solutions leveraging one or more of the following: Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, SoapUI, Postman, Protractor, JMeter, LoadRunner, VisualStudio, Load Test, Grinder, Gatling
• Programming languages (Python, Go, Shell, Ruby, Powershell,, etc.)
• Experience in Infrastructure management and automation technologies such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Datical, Azure DevOps
• Experience in monitoring tools such as New Relic
• Bachelor's in computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
