We are searching for an Automation and Controls Specialist that shares our quality and environmental values to join our team. The primary responsibilities and attributes of this position are:
•Work Safe•Electrical Control Circuit Design•Power Distribution System Design/Theory•Excellent Organizational Skills•Control Panel Design and Installation•Thorough Understanding of Production Process•Ability to Generate New Ideas and Recognize the Need for New and/or Modified Approaches•Database/Server Programming•Work Closely with Electricians & Millwrights to Solve Issues, Troubleshooting, & Project Implementation• Effective Written and Verbal Communication•AC & DC Drive Configuration•Work with Teammates to Solve Issues & Develop Process Improvements•Programmable Logic Control (PLC) Programming• AC & DC Motor Theory Application•Human Machine Interface (HMI) Programming•Project Management•Electrical Control Circuit Troubleshooting•Instrumentation Configuration and Calibrations•Electric Arc Furnace Regulation•Ethernet Network Setup and Troubleshooting•Electrical Schematic Interpretation

Minimum Qualifications:

• Electrical Engineering Degree or 2 years industrial experience in automation and controls

• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering

• Previous Steel/Manufacturing Experience in an industrial setting or related coursework
