Overview

Hotel Viking located in beautiful downtown Newport Rhode Island is currently hiring for a Seasonal Banquet Prep Cook. This will be a seasonal job for the months of May thru October Full-Time. The hours flexible AM/PM. Join our team as a Banquet Prep Cook at a renowned hotel or resort and be part of crafting unforgettable events and celebrations. As a Banquet Prep Cook, you'll play a vital role in preparing and executing culinary delights for banquets and special events. With our state-of-the-art kitchen facilities and a dynamic team, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and contribute to the success of our guests' memorable occasions. Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Prep Cook or in a similar role
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Food safety and sanitation knowledge
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
