TITLE: Biometrics & Information Platform Lead

LOCATION: Gaithersburg, MD

HOURS: 40 hrs FT / 9am- 5pm; Mon-Fri

DUTIES: Use mathematical models to hold accountability over technical aspects of the Biometrics & Information portfolio including oversight of changes on the platform, managing team, release coordination, communications, and application change activities including platform maintenance, enhancement, bug fix and major release coordination. Build the core platform capability team. Accountable for roadmaps, technology standards, technical design and delivery against the platform and associated resource capacity. Evaluate data and coordinate with architecture and capability teams. Coordinate release with the supporting Solutions Delivery application development and Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) support teams. Partner with the core business IT capability team to provide proactive actions to streamline platform maintenance and align with architectures strategic IT patterns. Handle software maintenance budget for annual software renewals and concurrent user renewals including vendor engagement through steering governance forum.

REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Operations Research, Statistics or related field, plus ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the offered role, as a Platform Lead or related role. Must possess ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience with all of the following: Developing SAS applications with minimum two (2) interactive operating systems supported by SAS; Unit testing and regression testing to submit code to UAT; Documenting causes and resolutions for production issues; SAS Grid environment and SAS clients including SAS Studio & SAS Enterprise Guide; Linux file systems, clustered shared storage and Citrix infrastructure; and Service Now, JIRA & Confluence. In the alternative, Employer will accept a Master's degree in a stated field of study plus eight (8) years of experience in all of the above skills. Employer will accept any combination of education, experience or training.

TRAVEL: 20% travel to national and international office locations required.
