Position Summary: The Branch Manager oversees operation, procedural and performance standards, customer satisfaction and financial position of Engineering Excellence clients. This position has responsibility including facilities maintenance and contracted services, financial management, and staff supervision and development. Ensures continuity in all critical client touch points between client and EE.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and be a Safety leader to all techs in your
  • Follow through with ALL company safety initiatives and verify proper PPE is used at all tim
  • Ensure the branch is setup for success and hits revenue/profitability goals.
  • Verify all company vehicles and/or tools are taken care of.
  • Dispatch and make sure all ETA's are made per customer requiremen
  • Perform site and vehicle inspections to maintain quality and stay on top of training opportun
  • Have development plan for all techs and apprentices that supports company growth.
  • Develop a Field Supervisor position to get all techs to next level, while teaching them business side of scheduling and assisting with branch operations.
  • Help Develop truck stock program that fits the needs of your are
  • Review site history and quote notes daily to verify we are meeting customer need
  • Maintain communication with techs and know where they are at all tim
  • Provide second opinions to ensure best solutions and technical diagnostic
  • Layout and manage work l
  • Quote replacement vs repair for customer
  • Be able to run retrofits, installs and large-scale projects.
  • Obtain the correct part info and pricing needed for quotes and T&M jobs.
  • Complete all quotes within 24-48hrs to meet customer expect
  • Order all parts within 24hrs of approval and setup ETA in Data B
  • Review completed WKO's, Job profitability, and be able to explain poor m
  • Interview and keep up with possible technician candidates.
  • Grow your team to accomplish the company's goals.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years in the HVAC or mechanical service industry preferred.
  • 2+ years of leading or supervising the work of others
  • 2+ years of frontline customer service experience.
  • HVAC technical experience-prior commercial field service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Economics and Accounting - Knowledge of basic economic and accounting principles and practices
  • Complex Problem Solving - identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Critical Thinking - using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Judgment and Decision Making - Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
