Exceptional opportunity to join a highly successful upstate New York Heavy Civil General Contractor looking to add a Structures Superintendent to their team. With a reputation for quality and excellence, they tackle complex and civil infrastructure projects that include heavy civil highway, bridges & roading projects throughout upstate New York.

As the Bridge Structures Superintendent you will be responsible for:

• Leading field operations working in collaboration with your Project Managers and Foreman to meet challenges and maintain budgets & schedules.
• Specializing in Structures, you will provide technical leadership to the foreman & site crews ensuring adequate staffing on jobs, high productivity, safety and quality.
• Overseeing all onsite compliance and safety and develop SSHASP in collaboration with Safety Dept.
• Communicate with owners agencies and inspectors.
• Manage material procurement, equipment use and laborer oversight.

As the Structures Superintendent, you will must have prior Bridge experience with at least 6 years experience in Heavy Civil Construction ideally on DOT Projects. Degree qualified preferred with strong communication skills leading either union or nonunion projects. You will have lead scopes of work up to $20 Million as the Lead and be a proven troubleshooter with a strong attention to detail.
