A member of the plant receiving team primarily focused on the ordering and receiving of bulk material including hazardous materials. Associate will also work as a member of the plant receiving team, unloading truck and making deliveries of incoming material as well as assisting shipping.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Responsible for monitoring inventory levels and ordering replenishment as necessary
  • Works with plant procurement to ensure suppliers provide timely delivery of products
  • Provides a point of contact for deliveries at the time of arrival and directs to specific unloading site.
  • At delivery site, establishes a safety perimeter and ensures all required protocols are followed. Once the site is secured and the material is in spec, facilitates the unloading.
  • When not performing the duties listed above, the individual will help out in Shipping and/or Receiving as directed by the department lead or designate.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • SAP experience is preferred
  • Supply chain knowledge, with an emphasis on shipping/receiving preferred
Additional Requirements:
  • Must be approved to become a member of ERT and join ERT within 6 months
  • OSHA Eight Hour HAZWOPER operations training
  • Hydrofluoric Acid training
  • Sulfuric Acid Training
  • Job will require climbing, lifting and may require strenuous exertion
  • Storm water training
  • SPPC Spill prevention, containment and counter measure
  • NFPA 472, 29 & 49 CFR, IATA and ICAO training
The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

The candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
