The Business Analyst role is based in Phoenix, AZ and reports directly to the VP/GM.

This position will support business analysis and operational processes by providing analytical information and process guidance. The main function will be a critical support role in all areas of financial and capital projects analysis. The candidate will require a strong working knowledge of financial statements and variance analyses for a multiple product line business as well as in-depth knowledge of accounting and control processes.

What you'll get to do

• Assist with monthly financial and capital reporting requirements and the analysis of Regional financial results.
• Assist in the development of analyses and presentations which provide management accurate, timely and relevant information to support the decision process.
• Interact with Regional Management Team personnel throughout the organization to procure operational data supporting financial results and questions.
• Analysis of divisional and product line reporting statements, including monthly performance reports, KPI graphs and charts.
• Work closely with MU management to improve key accounting and control processes to improve overall compliance.
• Prepare and track capital project documentation and performance relative to timelines and financial targets for projects.
• Develop/design interactive spreadsheets utilizing Excel integrated with Hyperion-Essbase.
• Various ad-hoc requests and special projects from senior management and other responsibilities,
• Assist in analyzing budget and forecast in Hyperion-Essbase.
• Ensure compliance requirements are met through organizational and procedural measures including implementation of Group guidelines, performing training, monitoring compliance etc.
• Proactively manage health & safety of employees to continuously improve thecompany's health & safety performance

Essential Experience and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in finance role with analytical exposure.
• Working knowledge of concepts in the development and tracking of capital expenditure projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Visual Basic, PowerPoint and Hyperion-Essbase.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal); ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Knowledge of SAP preferred
