Position Summary:

The Business Analyst serves as a liaison to the business' functional departments and the IT organization. The Business Analyst will gather and understand complex business problems and provide the appropriate translation into detailed business requirements. The Business Analyst will perform project management tasks and will guide the IT Development team through the analysis, development, and testing phases. The Business Analyst will coordinate with IT and the business functions to ensure that technology and processes are implemented according to Reyes Holdings IT standards.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
  • Acts as a liaison to IT and the business functions during the business requirements phase. Provides for the collection of business needs and the transformation into formal business requirements documentation.
  • Analyzes change requests to determine feasibility in relation to existing business requirements and processes.
  • Interfaces with developers and vendors to understand whether we can meet business and technical requirements.
  • Anticipates the needs of the business and aligns solutions to strategic initiatives.
  • Leads the business design for the end state solution while interacting with both business and IT functions.
  • Communicates business needs to the IT development team. Guides the IT development team during the analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation phases (SDLC).
  • Provides for project management tasks in addition to business analysis accountabilities. Informs and communicates to both business and IT on task completions, and risks. Coordinates testing, implementation and approach, training, and solution deployment.
  • Works with business users to prepare detailed specifications that can be communicated and translated to the IT team to build and implement end state business solutions.
  • Works with business and IT to create acceptance criteria / test cases in order to develop test plan and perform needed application testing.
  • Reviews evaluates current business processes to insure they are effective and efficient. Provide direction to automate, redesign systems, or processes where applicable.
  • Maintains all documentation, including business and technical application requirements, report requirements, and support documentation.
  • Other projects or duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology or related field and 2+ years of related experience OR High School Diploma and 4+ years of related experience.
  • Experience and proven track record managing mobile devices, applications, and profiles using a Mobile Device Management system.
  • Ability to work and guide external vendors on project work.
  • Strong analytical skills with system design and implementation experience.
  • Strong understanding of information systems and business processes.
  • Self-motivating individual with possession of strong leadership skills and presence.
  • Knowledge of technology trends with ability to effectively communicate value to organization and influence decision makers.
  • Excellent time management, organization and prioritization skills while working with both business and IT functions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal, teamwork and relationship building and maintenance skills to work effectively and make contributions to improvement recommendations in a team environment.
  • Excellent ability to manage competing demands, changes or delays.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience within a multi-location organization, operating in a 24x7 environment.
  • Experience within the Supply Chain and Distribution industry.
  • Experience working with major ERP Systems such as VIP.
  • Experience working with the following technologies; Salesforce, MuleSoft, Blue Yonder.
  • Experience managing and guiding external vendors on project work.
  • Experience with small to medium project management.
