JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Revenue Operations (ROPS) Business Analyst is responsible for gathering, defining and managing business requirements for Revenue Operations applications with the goal of improving business processes and systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Informing IT solutions that meet the business needs by eliciting requirements from product managers, product directors, product owners, business SMEs, and executive leadership.
• Create high-level requirements and update requirements artifacts such as Business Requirements Documents (BRD), use cases, process flows, functional and non-functional requirements, and other artifacts as needed.
• Responsible for ensuring each artifact complies with quality standards set out by the Business Analyst Team leadership, and for conducting and facilitating requirements review sessions to ensure understanding across business and IT groups.
• Responsible for maintaining those requirements through the life of the project, and raising awareness with mitigating strategies when issues arise that may impact budget or timelines.
• Act as a liaison between the IT requirements team and business partners that will be using the applications.
• Lead and facilitate interactions between ROPS leadership, IT teams, and business system end-users, such as requirement gathering and crafting sessions, post-deployment feedback sessions, and status meetings.
• Responsible for facilitating and supporting User Acceptance Testing.
• Participate in Joint Application Design (JAD) to collect and define business and functional requirements for a product.
• Review and provide feedback on training materials and product communications developed by training teams.
• Support production deployments with communication to impacted business users and stakeholders.
• Conduct validation on deployed functionality to ensure everything is working as expected immediately after a production deployment, and coordinate business partner validation of deployed functionality during a production release.
• Other duties as assigned.

  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience as a business analyst on software development projects
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle process
• Strong analytical skills required, including demonstrated understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into functional requirements
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and grasp complex ideas
• Ability to effectively interact with ROPS, IT & Field Leaders, including Managers, Directors, and Vice Presidents
• MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint experience required

  EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  EXPERIENCE

  2 to 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst for IT systems

  EDUCATION

  Bachelor degree in related field
