Overview:

The Business Analyst CeraVe is an expert at compiling informed consumer insights from multiple qualitative and quantitative sources. The role reports into Sales leadership, with dotted lines and accountabilities across the full L'Oreal ACD portfolio at the account. They work very closely with the internal and external partners, mining & converting data into actionable insights stories that support fact-based selling. Ideal candidates are self-driven, critical thinkers whose curiosity opens the door to meaningful business questions and whose skillset converts raw data pulls into easily comprehended recommendations and insights.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members in developing joint business plans that incorporate L'Oreal ACD sales strategy and strategic account expertise.
  • Measure business results vs. plan, pursuing ad hoc analysis as dictated by findings. Capture and develop recommendations to course correct or amplify building block strategies.
  • Support standardized and ad hoc POS reporting
  • Conduct deep dives into 1P data, extracting key storylines that support customer & divisional strategy
  • Provide supporting analytics and insights to improve KPIs across personalized offers and programmatic campaigns
  • Conduct competitive research including new launches, pricing, and sales drivers
  • Help to prepare materials for meetings
  • Assist with the development of category overviews and action plans for assigned customers, utilizing category management principles and strategies that will improve sales results and deliver customer category objectives
  • Analyze retailer POGs to identify share of shelf opportunities and develop recommendations to achieve fair share of shelf space for L'Oréal CPD brands. Maintain knowledge of industry trends, retailer trends and how they apply to our business

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2-3 years of experience
  • Experience with CPG manufacturers & mass retailers preferred
