Location: Benson, MN
Salary: $100,000.00 USD Annually - $132,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client in Benson, MN is currently seeking a Business Area Manager, this is a direct hire permanent position. Responsibilities:

• Overseeing personnel management and resource allocation to meet business requirements, ensuring alignment with both plant and corporate objectives. Providing direct supervision, feedback, and coaching to team members to cultivate a collaborative environment.
• Meeting daily and short-term targets by prioritizing tasks and ensuring their completion.
• Providing direction and resources to support long-term vision and achieve World Class Manufacturing objectives and cost reduction targets.
• Manufacturing quality products within budgeted production costs to fulfill market demand.
• Setting up equipment operations parameters such as feed, speed, and temperature.
• Following established procedures while driving continuous improvement in plant processes.
• Selecting and measuring raw materials and parts according to specifications for production processing.
• Resolving issues related to production, machinery, processing, or packaging operations.
• Monitoring and managing costs related to own work and business unit operations.
• Making decisions guided by policies, procedures, and business plans, with oversight from managers.
• Developing expertise in multiple teams within a specific area, working towards becoming an area or discipline expert.
• Using judgment to identify and resolve day-to-day technical and operational challenges.
• Exchanging technical or non-technical information with colleagues, superiors, and customers.
• Fulfilling any other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline with a minimum of 4 years of manufacturing experience, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 9 years of manufacturing experience.
• 2 or more years of supervisory experience.

Ideal Candidate Attributes:

• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• General understanding of MRP/ERP production planning and material flow.
• Experience with World Class Manufacturing (WCM), Lean Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
