The primary responsibility of the New Technologies Manager is to manage the IT team to support new applications or technology identified by manufacturing operations and manage global IT technology support for manufacturing sites.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain regular communication with organization's management, department supervisors, and end-users regarding new technology initiatives and IT support activities
  • Assist Manufacturing Operations by leading team on technology reviews, solution integrations, and application effectiveness
  • Effectively communicate with team and business partners; articulate broad implications / impact of solutions
  • Address challenging situations; anticipate and address conflict by demonstrating managerial responsibilities
  • Proactively coach and guide the work of others; Serve as mentor within and beyond own team
  • Ensure delivery of successful implementations (on time, budget, and as defined in scope) consistent with organizational objectives
Expected Areas of Competence
  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing advanced technology solutions to address current business processes
  • High level technical knowledge of current IT infrastructure, MOM team applications, protocols, and standards
  • Strong manufacturing knowledge and ability to integrate various manufacturing systems
  • Experience in an FDA regulatory organization
  • Experience with leading project implementation and support teams
  • Understand corporate best practices, techniques, and SOPs to ensure alignment of solution implementations
  • Review deliverables; coach others on approach and work product
  • Serve as mentor for junior analysts and consultants on MOM team
  • Ability to adapt to the changing environment within a fast-paced technology team
Education/Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology or Engineering related field required with at least 10+ years relative professional experience; OR Bachelor and Masters degree with 5+ years of related experience
  • Demonstrated ability to apply IT in solving business problems
  • Highly self-motivated, self-direct, and attentive to detail
  • Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills
  • Good facilitation and analytical skills
Travel Requirements
  • Up to 40% international and domestic
