Volt is immediately hiring for a Buyer/Purchasing Agent in Florham Park, NJ.

As a Buyer/Purchasing Agent you will:

• Manage budget guidelines with a strong ability to handle contract negotiations.
• Develop and optimize vendor relationships.
• Prospect and acquire new vendor accounts.
• Ensure requisitions have appropriate approvals and account numbers.
• Collaborate procurement strategies with purchasing team.
• Develop and implement cost saving measures that contribute to profits and revenue.
• Handle purchase requests for manufacturing raw materials, OEM, and MRO products and outside services.

This is a full-time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree with 2 - 4 years related buyer/procurement/supply chain experience; medical or medical device industry highly preferred.
• Kaizen and/or lean manufacturing a plus.
• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written necessary. pleasant & professional demeanor required.
• MS D365 experience is a plus.

Pay Rate: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
