The Linen Driver is responsible for the transport of soiled linens to the linen facility, assisting in the processing of linens through the linen facility, and the delivery of clean linens to the appropriate resort venue.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Reliable transportation and ability to meet attendance requirements in order to be able to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.

Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age or older and will be subject to a background check, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law. Valid OH Driver’s license.

Ability to Lift 40lbs frequenlty. 

Ability to stand/sit and walk for long periods of time.

Ability to bend, stretch and twist and pull.

Responsibilities

JOB SPECIFIC TASKS:

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. 

 

  • Receives and provides transit of all dirty linen from resort locations and delivers soiled linen back to laundry facilities for proper processing.
  • Evaluates current inventory at the linen facility and resort locations to accurately determine what is needed and available for daily operation.
  • Uses company radio and communicates with both Housekeeping Supervisors/Team Leads and Housekeeping Attendants.
  • Distributes clean processed linen to locations throughout the resort.
  • Maintains proper quality control procedures when handling linen which would include checking for stains, tears in fabric, and overall presentability to our internal and external guests.
  • Sorts soiled linen as it enters the facility, placing it into the correct carts to be weighed and loaded into the washers. Follows correct weight requirements when placing into washers to ensure quality of the linen and the safety of the equipment. Responsible for selecting the proper formulas to ensure correct cleaning of all linen.
  • Inspects box trucks before and after their shift to ensure the safety and reliability of all delivery vehicles, which would include fueling of delivery vehicles and reporting any problems to the Operation Supervisor.
  • Performs the same duties as a linen attendant when there are no deliveries.
  • Other duties as assigned.
