Overview:

A Maintenance technician is responsible for overseeing resort infrastructure to ensure functionality and safety of our guests and resources.

JOB SPECIFIC TASKS:

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. 

• Perform preventative maintenance in Resort, including cottages, lobbies and facilities (Kitchens, pools, outdoor space).
• Organize repair, installation, and renovation projects.
• Assist guests with maintenance requests.
• Communicate with various departments on maintenance scheduling needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and perform all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements, and report all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
• Provide guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions, and giving directions.
• Other duties as assigned.

We're Looking For:

QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Passionate about understanding an exceptional guest experience like no other.
• Reliable transportation and ability to meet attendance requirements in order to be able to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age or older and will be subject to a background check, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law. Valid OH Driver’s license.
• Ability to Lift 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand/sit and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to bend, stretch, crawl and twist.
