Description Position Title: Graduate Assistant - Career & Professionalism CenterSupervisor's Title & Department: Executive Director of Career DevelopmentSession: Academic (August 12, 2024 - May 16, 2025) This is a one-year placement with an opportunity for re-application and hire.Hourly Rate & Leadership Classification: $17.00Average hours per week: Up to 20 hours per week Job Purpose: The graduate assistant provides direct service support to the Career & Professionalism Center through individual work with staff and program support through ongoing career counseling, internal marketing, marketing of programs, and web page content updates and development especially as related to student outcomes. Oversee the marketing of the online job bank, recruiting system, and career management system, events and other programs especially through social media. Assist with workshops, GS 105 and 305 classes, events, and resume critiques. In addition, the graduate assistant will conduct research on various issues related to career development, internships, employer relations, job search and assessment as well as participate in professional development activities, and assist with the data required for assessment of the center and its programs.
