Cash Posting Specialist - Remote (Must live within Nashville, TN area)

Haven Behavioral Healthcare is located in Nashville, TN and operates seven acute care hospitals across the United States that offer a full continuum of care for anyone dealing with mental health and substance abuse issues, from young adults to seniors.

Position Details: Responsibilities involve providing cash/financial posting for multiple facilities which may include report preparations. Daily pull deposit information from the bank for each location. Locate remits for each deposit from Waystar or various payer websites. Post adjustments in the patient accounting system. Performing basic computer system maintenance and patient account research.

Requisites:

• High school diploma or GED required, college education preferred
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in electronic cash posting, preferably in a behavioral healthcare setting
• Working knowledge of HMS/Medhost
• Patient accounting system and Waystar electronic billing system preferred
• Prior experience in accounts receivable and collections in a healthcare setting is required
