SCHEDULE (This is a non-exempt/hourly position)
  • This is a flexible, as needed position that does not have a set schedule
  • You are required to pick up 4 shifts per month (minimum), and can work additional shifts if you are interested and motivated
  • You choose the shifts and locations where you will work based on the available shifts/needs at the three programs, a month in advance so you know your own schedule.


We're looking for people to join our Casual Pool to help support our 3 comprehensive mental health personal care homes in the South and Eastern areas of Pittsburgh (Munhall, West Mifflin, and Wilkinsburg). This position will require working rotating shifts, which might include weekends, overnights, and holidays that you are able to select from available shifts posted each month, and plan your month in advance. The Casual Pool Specialist position consist of providing daily living skill training and support to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and other chronic health conditions. Our homes vary in size from 8 to 56 individuals served. Depending on which shifts/sites you are working at you may be working alone or be part of a larger team working to support our residents. Shift duties may include: medication administration, preparation of meals, assistance with bathing and personal hygiene, light house work, running groups, safety checks (residents/site) and clerical tasks. You will be given the opportunity to complete on-the-job training at each of our locations so that you know what to expect.
