Responsibilities:

  • The Boston CCBHC Program Director serves as the senior leader of a complex network of behavioral health providers serving individuals of all ages in the city of Boston. In combination with our designated collaborating organizations (DCOs), the CCBHC network will address complex mental health, substance use and physical health needs of individuals who may not otherwise receive comprehensive and integrated service due to disparities in the healthcare system and limited availability of services.
  • Directly plan, implement, and oversee operation of the Boston CCBHC, an innovative, integrated, patient-centered project
  • Demonstrate the ability to operate effectively in a team-approach with ability to coordinate with Bay Cove DCOs and other community partners
  • Ensure that all program development plans and activities are executed keeping with the organization's values, mission, vision, and strategy
  • Participate in CCBHC specific workgroups both internally and externally.
  • Hire, orient, and train project staff and assist in coordinating training and professional development for team members
  • Provide care consultation and intervention supervision for the CCBHC team
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community resources and services for individuals in recovery with histories of substance use disorders, opioid use disorders, and mental health diagnoses
  • Ensure compliance with all grant requirements, licensing requirements, and ethical protocols
  • Collaborate with the evaluation team to ensure continuous quality improvement and the collection of accurate and timely reporting of all required data
  • Ensure patients receive compassionate and trauma-informed clinical treatment with the scope of practice regulations governing certified community behavioral health clinics.
  • Provide on-call coverage as needed

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field required.
  • At least five years' experience in program or department management, including direct staff supervision and budget preparation and management required.
  • Experience in working with the target population of the Boston CCBHC, low income, uninsured and uninsured adults with serious mental health challenges and/or substance use disorders and children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances
  • Solid understanding of clinical and recovery principles.
  • Professional writing and oral communications skills.
  • Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply, pay differential offered for candidates with fluency in certain essential languages.
