Basic Function

Manages certification and recertification processes for management systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949 and ISCC+. Initial focus will be on leading the regional development and management of a company-wide International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC+) System including process development/implementation and related auditing activities to ensure compliance with requirements. Provides Management System process ownership and leads continuous performance improvement efforts. Uses strong background in manufacturing, lab, supply chain and quality to evaluate conformance to company Management System standards and ISCC+ requirements. Interfaces with internal stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction. Provides recommendations to facility and senior management regarding conformance and data-based recommendations for continuous improvement.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary contact for the ISCC+ sites in their area of responsibility
  • Leads ISCC+ network and develops preferred practices and tools for consistent implementation of requirements
  • Develop, communicate, and manage KPI's and implements improvement plans in the areas of responsibility
  • Conducts Management System internal audits and provides written reports
  • Conducts investigations, as required, and provides training on Management System processes
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure the Management System is an embedded part of their processes
  • Act as an independent management system expert to both registrar audits and assessments
  • Promptly responds to customer surveys and informational needs
  • Drives system and performance enhancements to further identify and reduce risks
  • Identifies and implements efficiency and effectiveness improvements to management system processes
  • Support other Management Systems as needed, such as ISO:9001, ISO:14001.

Min. Qualifications

Requirements:
• Associate's degree required. Degree in Engineering or Business is preferred.
• Background in Management Systems. Experience in ISO:9001 and/or ISO:14001 is preferred
• 7 years related experience

Critical Competencies/Behaviors:
• Fundamental knowledge of Management Systems techniques, methods, and standards including:
• Auditor experience in relevant Management Systems Standards
• Practical experience in problem solving and investigation techniques
• Performing statistical analysis and data analytics
• Driving Results experience including:
• Management System's creation, implementation, and continuous improvement
• Customer Focused and Ensure Accountability
• Ability to effectively work with stakeholders of different levels internal and external to the Company
• Business focus to ensure value adding activities are captured and implemented
• General chemical manufacturing process and mass balance calculation knowledge
• Excellent verbal, written skills and presentation skills

Skills:
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including executive management
• Ability to lead through influence, and manage and direct an audit team
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated change management skills
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
• Analytical skills and the ability to translate data into leveraging action

Languages: English proficiency is required. Position to be based in Houston
